The Revelation Pharma family would like to express our deep sadness at the passing of Dr. Loyd V. Allen, Jr., on Tuesday, April 23, at the age of 80. Renowned for his pivotal role in the compounding pharmacy sector, Dr. Allen was widely respected as an innovative educator and a guiding light to many in the field. His demise marks a significant loss to the community he dearly nurtured.

While Dr. Allen's career was distinguished by his role as professor emeritus at the University of Oklahoma HSC College of Pharmacy and as the visionary CEO of the Midwest Institute of Research and Technology, he is perhaps most notably known for his role as the editor-in-chief of the International Journal of Pharmacy Compounding (IJPC),

Ohio State Senator Kent Smith, minority whip and longtime legislator, paid a visit to Lee Silsby Compounding Pharmacy in late April. Prior to his visit, Smith had a limited background on the world of compounding.
